The certificate in nonprofit management will give students the general business and management skills necessary to work with and in nonprofit organizations. Admission to the O’Neill School or enrollment in any IU degree program is required to pursue the certificate in nonprofit management. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a major in nonprofit management may not pursue the certificate in nonprofit management.
A total of 18 credit hours, with a minimum GPA of 2.3 in all coursework, is required to complete the certificate. At least 12 of the 18 credit hours must be taken on the IU Indianapolis campus.
O’Neill students earning an O’Neill certificate may double count two courses.
