The Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Systems is a 33 credit hour graduate program designed to prepare strategic leaders for complex organizational environments across public, nonprofit, and private sectors. Grounded in advanced leadership theory and applied research, the program emphasizes evidence-based decisionmaking, organizational change management, and communication strategies essential for leading diverse teams and systems.

Degree requirements

Completing the MSLOS requires 9 core hours in strategic leadership courses. Students also fulfill 24 credit hours in advanced leadership courses, communication courses, and a variety of elective courses. Students also can elect to earn credit by completing an internship or capstone course, though they are not required. This flexible curriculum allows you to customize the program to best fit your career goals and life. Students may qualify for academic credit for prior certified training or professional experience.

Attend full time or part time

You can earn your degree in two to four years with full-time and part-time options. Coursework is offered in the evenings to allow students to work full time and earn a degree.
