The Graduate Certificate in Professional Project Management is a 12 credit hour program. The curriculum supports students who are new to project management as well as those with professional experience. Students who complete the certificate will be equipped to handle large, complicated and multiparty projects as well as manage teams responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating projects.
Armed with an understanding of project management skills, students in the program will set themselves apart from their peers during the hiring process and salary negotiations. They will develop skills for operational and leadership roles that involve planning, executing, and evaluating projects and programs.
Beyond receiving an Indiana University credential, a graduate certificate in Professional Project Management provides students with learning and eligibility for the PMI CAPM certification exam and entry level project management careers. Courses are offered in hybrid formats (evenings or online) and students can complete the graduate certificate in any two consecutive terms, including summers.
